The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has confirmed the continued leadership of its key figures, with Delphine Ernotte Cunci, the CEO of France Télévisions, and Cilla Benkö, the Director General of Swedish Radio, both securing new two-year terms as President and Vice-President, respectively. This decision underscores the members' confidence in their current strategic direction.

Further strengthening its governance, the EBU has also appointed three new members to its executive board. These additions include Rhodri Talfan Davies representing the UK's BBC, Yannis Papadopoulos from Greece's ERT, and Susanne Wille from Switzerland's SRG SSR. These new board members are set to contribute their expertise until the next board elections, scheduled for the end of 2026 at the EBU General Assembly, as the alliance continues its crucial role in public service media.

In response to her re-election, President Ernotte Cunci expressed gratitude for the renewed trust from the EBU members, highlighting the importance of unity and solidarity for public service media during challenging times. She emphasized the EBU's dedication to robust cooperation, aiming to deliver high-quality coverage of global events and enhance the organization's collective influence. This commitment reflects a proactive stance in a rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape, where public service media plays an indispensable role in safeguarding European sovereignty and fostering a shared vision.
