Glorify and Great American Media Collaborate on Faith-Inspired Content

by : Roger Ebert

Glorify, a Christian devotional application, and Great American Media, an entertainment network, have forged a collaborative alliance to introduce a new lineup of faith-oriented content. This strategic partnership seeks to translate the narratives from Great American Media's cinematic and television productions into engaging audio devotional experiences. The inaugural offering from this collaboration is "The Fabric of Faith," a seven-day audio series designed as a companion to the Great American Pure Flix film, "Blessings in Disguise." This initiative underscores a shared commitment to providing audiences with enriching spiritual content that integrates seamlessly with popular media.

The first endeavor from this partnership, "The Fabric of Faith," functions as an enriching complement to the motion picture "Blessings in Disguise." Shae Robins, who takes on a starring role in the film, will lend her voice to the audio series, reprising her character, Katie, throughout the seven-day devotional journey. "Blessings in Disguise" premiered on March 27 on Great American Pure Flix, subsequently becoming available on Great American Family and GFAM+ the following day. The film's storyline centers on Robins' character, an exceptionally gifted fashion designer who subtly incorporates scripture into her bespoke creations, and Casey Elliott's character, a committed woodworker seeking deeper meaning in his craft.

Beyond the initial "The Fabric of Faith" series, the collaboration between Glorify and Great American Media is set to expand, transforming a variety of Great American narratives into audio devotional content. These experiences are specifically crafted to deepen users' spiritual connection through prayer, contemplation, and other reflective practices. Notably, actress Danica McKellar, slated to star in an upcoming Christmas production for Great American Media, will also contribute to this content initiative. This broadened scope reflects a shared vision to provide authentic, accessible, and deeply personal faith experiences to a wider audience, moving beyond traditional viewing platforms.

This alliance positions Great American Media as the latest entity to join Glorify's continually expanding portfolio of devotional resources and educational programs. In previous undertakings, Glorify has successfully partnered with the creators behind "The Chosen," the global humanitarian organization Mercy Ships, Jacob Coyne's Stay Here movement, YouVersion's Global Bible Month initiative, Hillsong's Joel Houston, and Churchome leaders Judah and Chelsea Smith. These prior collaborations highlight Glorify's commitment to delivering impactful spiritual content through diverse and influential partnerships.

Bill Abbott, President and CEO of Great American Media, emphasized the network's dedication to engaging families across various settings—from their homes to behind-the-scenes interactions with talent, and even during moments of personal reflection throughout the day. He noted that the partnership with Glorify allows Great American Media to extend its storytelling reach beyond the confines of the screen, creating meaningful daily devotional experiences. This expansion connects with like-minded believers in a manner that is genuine, easily accessible, and profoundly personal, reinforcing the network's mission to serve its audience's spiritual needs.

This new collaboration marks a significant step for both Glorify and Great American Media in augmenting the availability of inspirational and faith-based content. By combining Great American Media's narrative prowess with Glorify's devotional platform, the partnership aims to offer audiences a deeper, more personal engagement with spiritual themes, fostering reflection and connection in their daily lives.
